I decided to be more active with my blog, things are hopefully going to change. I hope you all had relaxing holidays! I certainly did, I even got to think about things and I'm happy to inform you that this year is going to be awesome.
But now I shall tell about the past 3 weeks. As you know, Terhi came to our place on Tuesday the17th. I was still sick and very tired but on that day I got to laugh a lot. We went to Subway and wrote some amazing poems in our apartment with Heidi and Sam. On Wednesday, we had the party and I was really happy to see all the awesome people who came there. On Thursday, we went to Bordeaux center to eat out with Heidi (needless to say, it took an eternity to find a suitable place).Anyway, we found a great fun and had a lot of fun (in other words, we can never go there again 'cause I feel so ashamed).
Did I mention that I still had school? I was so tired. I was having exams and trying to get teachers' signatures for my sheet. By some miracle I passed every course! Hell yeah! And here's the best part: no exams in January for me!
So finally my courses ended. Right after that Luca asked if I wanted to see her before she left back to Hungary. Needless to say, I was psyched. So went went to meet her with Terhi:
Anyway, we went to discover Bordeaux with Terhi.
There were these Christmas market things everywhere. Terhi felt home in "the woods" :DD.
Grand Théâtre
The Bordeaux UFOs
On Saturday we went shopping and since Valerie had promised to meet us, we went to Subway to wait.
We got to meet Valerie's friends and it was awesome. We ended up hanging out in Pessac until the last tram had left. I dare you to guess how we got home ;)
Since Christmas was coming, we made an original Christmas tree. I think the theme is Finland :D.
On Sunday we went to discover Talence (even I had never done that!). It was a true sightseeing.
This is a dog park thing and it looked way more depressing in real life. It has hardly any trees and here's the most ridiculous part: it's not open at night! Come on! It's a terrain with a couple of trees!
We found an LGBT friendly umbrella which was cool. Unfortunately it was broken.
We decided to hang it in order to make Talence prettier and spread a gay friendly atmosphere.
This is the amazing city hall of Talence. It kinda looks like the library in Äänekoski.
An American style restaurant in Forum. Terhi works in a similar one in Jyväskylä :D.
Christmas market in Forum. Yes, Terhi works also as a top model.
The church and a Christmas tree in Forum.
We went to see the church and decided to see the cinema after that but ended up in a boulangerie:
There are too many things to eat in France!
On Monday Valerie invited us to a dinner with friends. It was amazing. We got to eat delicious Asian food:
This is how Asians cook rice :DD.
And we got to see men cooking and washing up! That's progress!
It was like a real restaurant with fancy Asian waiters XD. I laughed so much!
We got to hear the national songs of the US, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan! And we learned (or tried to learn) Korean. Although I thought Kim didn't know how to pronounce his own language :D.
Valerie and I :)
After the most amazing Chritmas eve's eve, we celebrated the Chistmas eve (which, if you didn't know, is a thing in Finland) with Terhi. We cooked the whole day -although I woke up quite late- and got to eat at 22 :DD.
We didn't have an electric mixed so we had to whip the egg whites like this. That's pretty badass! See? The whites stayed in the bowl even upside-down! Our wrists were hurting pretty badly after this :D.
This one demonstrates the making of a Yule log (or bûche de Noël, it's a French thing):
I was pretty happy with it. Probably the first time I succeeded in baking.
Adding more chocolate and grease :D
We even bought some candles.
There's the log, salmon and of course, not so traditional CHRISTMAS PIZZA!!
After the delightful dinner, we got to open my presents - although Terhi had only, like, two of them...
I got this amazing calendar of the university boys in Jyväskylä. Terhi had collected their autographs and even some phone numbers!! Just: !!!!
I got an alarm clock (among other things) from Heidi. If you've read this blog, you know it's a good idea :D.
Gloves from Finland. See my face XD
Chocolate and stuff!!
Salmiakki A.K.A. salty licorice!! Only in Finland!
Then we made a cool Christmas playlist with hardly any Christmas songs in it. Best Christmas ever!! Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA01pdI0jng&list=PL-3Qi6SGC7MszDNJDL2-PhNRh4TZbAvpO
After the exciting Christmas eve, we spent an international Christmas day with Kim and Chien-Chi who claimed that they don't celebrate Christmas in Korea or Taiwan and that's why they could hang out with us. It was so fun!
Terhi was here 3 weeks so we did a lot of (stupid) stuff. You will read the rest in the next entry. Thanks for the comments and thanks for reading! See you soon!
Bonne Année!

hieno blogi 5/5 nautin lukemisesta.
Hyvä et ootte hengissä, yllätyin positiivisesti!(:D)
Kiitos, lisää tulossa pian :D
Ja miks me ei oltais hengissä? XD
Mielestäni tekstisi on erittäin provokatiivinen ja ajoittain jouduin sulkemaan tabloidini, jotten ryhtyisi kapinaan.
Muutoin teksti oli hyvä, vaikka saikin pohtimaan josko weblogisi voisi erikoistua sisustussuunnittelu blogiksi.
Terveisiä sinne Ranskaan ja hyvää uuttavuotta! Kiva että oli mukana paljon kuvia :)
