The art of idiocy, advanced level (part two)

Hi again, guys!

Sorry it took so long to write this following part to our adventures. Now I'll tell you the rest!

So on Christmas Day it looked like this:

I also had a dream about the end of the world in Jyväskylä :D.

I felt restless at night so we decided to go walking. And we accidentally ended up walking to Victoire...

...and eventually Bordeaux center! :D

But the ball wasn't lit!

And it started raining. We didn't have umbrellas and it was night so the trams weren't available. So we chilled under the ball. A drunk man came there to have a delightful chit chat with us. He said he got married in that church. And he thought it was weird we were walking to Talence.

On our way home we met a drunk guy called Moses. He thought Terhi and I were a gay couple and he was very eager to have a threesome with us... but we told him we weren't that into it. Anyway, we were walking so late we could take the first tram of the day so we took it three stops from home :D.

I slept late... every day, so that Terhi could have some private time with Paint. Here's what it turned out to be:
This is Terhi and I with our Access cards.

This is me every morning after the shower. Terhi sure knows how to describe her life.

Aaaand... well, you get the idea.

We were kind of out of ideas what to do since all places were closed when I woke up. We mostly just walked around Bordeaux. One day we decided to walk to Pessac to find out whether it really was as far as people were saying it was. But...

...as usual, it was raining. So we decided to play spiritism instead. No-one died.

We were very creative. We wrote a Bordeaux rap in Finnish but we never got to make a music video for it. We also started making a sequel for our box office hit "Rekkamies ja Nunna" - "The Truck driver and the Nun":

Unfortunately, no-one wanted to shoot it for us, so the project is frozen for now.

Since we are the girliest girls in the universe, we did makeovers. And used Wikihow :D. Here's Terhi as me:

Cool style, huh? :D

On Saturday, we met Claire!! We went to Verde Nero with her and found out she was awesome! For some reason, she invited us to celebrate New Year with her friends!!

Then we went to the center and visited the ball again. This time, the lights were on and, for a few seconds, no-one was inside it.

My pen friend from Vannes, Laura, came to visit us for the New Year! I'd seen her last time in 2011 when I visited her and her parents in Vannes. It was really great to meet again.

Cooking with Laura and Terhi. I got to chop the onions since I'd never cried while doing it and I wanted to experience it :D.

On New Year's Eve, we went to Claire's friend's house and we had a Soirée crêpes or something. It included delicious crêpes and good company!

Three beautiful girls with their natural looks.

And we played this game that I absolutely hate since it's too visual for me and thus impossible.

When the year changed, we made some awesome New Year's resolutions and started speaking French for a while. We (at least Terhi and I) were extremely hyper and yelled "Bonne Année!!!!!" to everyone on the way home. The people were cool and answered us :D.

Laura had to leave the next day but we got to see her pictures from Vietnam. It was cool.

No-one wanted to hang out with us until Sunday, so we entertained ourselves by walking around and having really sophisticated discussions (OK, they might have actually been something else) and drinking tea (and eating A LOT of chocolate XD). We also watched Superbad which is my favorite movie (for real!!!) and since it's so awesome, Terhi wanted to watch it a second time. It inspired us to start a script for a Finnish high school movie which is going to be awesome!!

Finally, on Sunday, we got to meet other people. Grace had come back to Bordeaux so we went to her place to have some wine and cheese! It was too cool.

When we came back home, we put on music, as usual, and went to our sophisticated tea and conversation table. Then we saw it. The pudding! Neither of us had eaten it so we thought someone had broken into our house. We went to check out our roommate's room, opened the door and put on the lights. He was there sleeping!!!!!

As usual, I was embarrassed. Our Christmas decorations were still on, we hadn't washed up for days and Terhi, after eating too much sugar, had done this to our kitchen:

The next day, our roommate said: "I see you've decorated a bit. Pretty!" :DD He's so cool.

By the way, we had invited Claire to eat crêpes with us on Saturday but she said she couldn't come. So here's what she missed:

Ha! What do you think about that, Claire?! :DD

Anyway, Monday was the last day Terhi spent in Bordeaux so we got the honor to meet Claire again. We went to this quit coffee place (which wasn't so quiet anymore when we'd arrived) in Talence. I tried to be badass and order hot chocolate even though I don't like it but they didn't have it anymore. I said I was going to have tea but Claire decided to be provocative and ask if it was a little boring. So I ended up having COFFEE WITH CREAM or THE GRAND CREME or whatever. And I don't like coffee. And I was tired. And I was hyper after that. I think Claire learned that things have consequences.

Claire claimed she had to leave us and meet their friends. They were going to see a movie. The Wolf of Wall Street. Even though I knew nothing about the movie, I wanted to see it so she invited us. I have to say: the movie was LONG! The first half was OK, but seriously: over 3 hours!! IN FRENCH!!! But it was cool.

Before the movie, we went to the center for the last time:

And Terhi got to blank on the Place de la Bourse.

We stayed up until 8 AM so it really hurt waking up. It was sunny so it felt just wrong. I went halfway to the airport with Terhi. It was really sad to give her up after three amazing weeks.

Anyway, I hope that this year I will be more positive. I wish that I don't hate the school as much as I used to (seriously, it's just not as good as the Finnish school!!) and that I'll see my friend more often than I did in autumn. School is eating all my time, seriously! And I'm not even getting decent grades!!

You'll hear about the awesome school system on the next post. I guarantee you, it's not that awesome.

I hope I'll be more active with this. Thanks for reading and thanks for the comments! Don't forget to read my other blog http://falloutspam.tumblr.com/.

I wanna hear about you guys! Please come visit me!!

See you soon <3<3

The art of idiocy for beginners (part one)

Happy New Year, guys!

I decided to be more active with my blog, things are hopefully going to change. I hope you all had relaxing holidays! I certainly did, I even got to think about things and I'm happy to inform you that this year is going to be awesome.

But now I shall tell about the past 3 weeks. As you know, Terhi came to our place on Tuesday the17th. I was still sick and very tired but on that day I got to laugh a lot. We went to Subway and wrote some amazing poems in our apartment with Heidi and Sam. On Wednesday, we had the party and I was really happy to see all the awesome people who came there. On Thursday, we went to Bordeaux center to eat out with Heidi (needless to say, it took an eternity to find a suitable place).Anyway, we found a great fun and had a lot of fun (in other words, we can never go there again 'cause I feel so ashamed).

Did I mention that I still had school? I was so tired. I was having exams and trying to get teachers' signatures for my sheet. By some miracle I passed every course! Hell yeah! And here's the best part: no exams in January for me!

So finally my courses ended. Right after that Luca asked if I wanted to see her before she left back to Hungary. Needless to say, I was psyched. So went went to meet her with Terhi:

I hope we'll meet again in summer! Finally I have a reason to start learning Hungarian!

Anyway, we went to discover Bordeaux with Terhi.

There were these Christmas market things everywhere. Terhi felt home in "the woods" :DD.

Grand Théâtre

The Bordeaux UFOs

On Saturday we went shopping and since Valerie had promised to meet us, we went to Subway to wait.

We got to meet Valerie's friends and it was awesome. We ended up hanging out in Pessac until the last tram had left. I dare you to guess how we got home ;)

Since Christmas was coming, we made an original Christmas tree. I think the theme is Finland :D.

On Sunday we went to discover Talence (even I had never done that!). It was a true sightseeing.

This is a dog park thing and it looked way more depressing in real life. It has hardly any trees and here's the most ridiculous part: it's not open at night! Come on! It's a terrain with a couple of trees!

We found an LGBT friendly umbrella which was cool. Unfortunately it was broken.

We decided to hang it in order to make Talence prettier and spread a gay friendly atmosphere.

This is the amazing city hall of Talence. It kinda looks like the library in Äänekoski.

An American style restaurant in Forum. Terhi works in a similar one in Jyväskylä :D.

Christmas market in Forum. Yes, Terhi works also as a top model.

The church and a Christmas tree in Forum.

We went to see the church and decided to see the cinema after that but ended up in a boulangerie:

There are too many things to eat in France!

On Monday Valerie invited us to a dinner with friends. It was amazing. We got to eat delicious Asian food:

This is how Asians cook rice :DD.

And we got to see men cooking and washing up! That's progress!

It was like a real restaurant with fancy Asian waiters XD. I laughed so much!

We got to hear the national songs of the US, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan! And we learned (or tried to learn) Korean. Although I thought Kim didn't know how to pronounce his own language :D.

Valerie and I :)

After the most amazing Chritmas eve's eve, we celebrated the Chistmas eve (which, if you didn't know, is a thing in Finland) with Terhi. We cooked the whole day -although I woke up quite late- and got to eat at 22 :DD.

We didn't have an electric mixed so we had to whip the egg whites like this. That's pretty badass! See? The whites stayed in the bowl even upside-down! Our wrists were hurting pretty badly after this :D.

This one demonstrates the making of a Yule log (or bûche de Noël, it's a French thing):

I was pretty happy with it. Probably the first time I succeeded in baking.

Adding more chocolate and grease :D

We even bought some candles.

There's the log, salmon and of course, not so traditional CHRISTMAS PIZZA!!

After the delightful dinner, we got to open my presents - although Terhi had only, like, two of them...

I got this amazing calendar of the university boys in Jyväskylä. Terhi had collected their autographs and even some phone numbers!! Just: !!!!

I got an alarm clock (among other things) from Heidi. If you've read this blog, you know it's a good idea :D.

Gloves from Finland. See my face XD

Chocolate and stuff!!

Salmiakki A.K.A. salty licorice!! Only in Finland!

Then we made a cool Christmas playlist with hardly any Christmas songs in it. Best Christmas ever!! Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA01pdI0jng&list=PL-3Qi6SGC7MszDNJDL2-PhNRh4TZbAvpO

After the exciting Christmas eve, we spent an international Christmas day with Kim and Chien-Chi who claimed that they don't celebrate Christmas in Korea or Taiwan and that's why they could hang out with us. It was so fun!

Terhi was here 3 weeks so we did a lot of (stupid) stuff. You will read the rest in the next entry. Thanks for the comments and thanks for reading! See you soon!

Bonne Année!
